The Pfosten-16 support system is a two-track support that was specially developed for the convenient attachment of curtain rods and drapery rods. These rod holders are designed for round tubes with a diameter of 16mm and are made of solid stainless steel with a wall thickness of 1mm. The stainless steel not only gives the holders stability, but also a modern and elegant look that suits many different ambiences. The Post 16 double track rod is in high demand and is perfect for hanging curtains in both residential and commercial spaces. Round tube curtain rods are usually used with curtain rings, curtain hooks, loops or metal grommets to attach the curtains and blinds to the rod. This variant is the most commonly used version for attaching curtains when decorating the window.
You order a complete curtain rod, which consists of the following components:
2 pieces of tube with a diameter of 16 mm in a noble and satin-polished look, suitable for the holders and end buttons. Lengths of up to 600 cm are available in one piece on request.
You will also receive 2, 3 or 5 pole supports Pfosten-16 double-barreled with base washer, made of solid stainless steel DIN WNR 1.4301 with a satin finish. Fastening material is included in the scope of delivery, the number of holders depends on the ordered length of the rod.
You also have the option of ordering 4 finials of your choice or the style set without finials.
We advise you to order the desired number of curtain rings or curtain hooks, with a minimum of 10 per 1 meter of curtain width.

Curtain rod holder, wall holder for post 16, 2-track: fastening and assembly instructions.

The 2-track wall bracket system Pfosten-16 is ideal for attaching curtain rods with a diameter of 16mm to the wall. The carrier system comes with a special mounting system that allows for easy assembly. First you need to attach the wall mount to the wall using the supplied wall plugs and screws. You can then insert the tubes into the holder and fix them with the grub screws. The two-track wall bracket offers the advantage that you can attach two curtains at the same time, which is particularly practical if you want to hang up a transparent curtain and a blackout curtain, for example. To ensure optimal stability and secure attachment, make sure the screws are tight and the pole is secure in the bracket.
The curtain rod brackets are perfect for mounting curtain or curtain rods on the wall. You can place the rod brackets freely on the wall and move the round stainless steel tubes with a diameter of 16mm freely in the support.
It is installed using a base plate and bolts, which are either mounted directly to the wall with a spax screw or with a screw-on plate and spax screws. The stainless steel carriers are then pushed onto the bolts and fixed with the carrier grub screws. The rods are pushed into the openings of the carrier and fixed with additional carrier grub screws.
Optionally, you can extend the post bar carrier system with a standard 50mm extension by simply attaching the extension to the carrier base with an adapter. We can also make custom length extensions. If you need these, please ask.

We offer various end pieces for our 16mm stainless steel tubes. To select the desired end piece, simply click on the corresponding field. The images show our range of end fittings and end knobs for 16mm diameter stainless steel tubing. Of course, you can also order the version without end pieces, for example to use a joint connector for bay windows or a wall bracket at this point.

Connect tube ends with a joint, for example to put together a bay window curtain rod.

To assemble a bay window curtain rod you can simply connect the tubes with a joint to put the rods together. In this way you can flexibly attach the bars to the walls and create a tailor-made solution for your window.
If you need an L-shape or U-shape curtain rod for your room, or want to make a trapezoidal curtain rod for your bay window, you can use our connecting joints to connect 20mm diameter tubes. These corner joints are inserted into the pipe ends so that you can easily and continuously adjust angles between 75° and 285°.
To compose an L-shaped curtain rod, order: 1 pc. curtain rod with 4 end pieces + 1 pc. curtain rod without end pieces but with 2 joints.
To compose a U-shaped or a 3-sided trapezoidal curtain rod, order: 2 curtain rods each with 2 end pieces + 1 curtain rod without end pieces but with 4 joint connectors.

You can use our stainless steel rings to attach curtains to a curtain rod with a round tube. These curtain rings are made of stainless steel and have a plastic insert that allows the curtains to slide quietly. All rings are supplied with clip-on hooks (puckering hooks) made of clear plastic. We recommend at least 1 piece ring per 10cm finished curtain.

S-shaped curtain hooks made of stainless steel for curtain rods and tubes with a diameter of 16mm.

S-shaped curtain hooks made of V2A stainless steel, extremely robust and durable, but at the same time very smooth-running. The hooks are bent from 3mm stainless steel wire and the ends are stamped. They are suitable for use as curtain hooks indoors and outdoors. Thanks to the clamping system with 15mm opening, they can be easily attached and removed from a 16mm rod.
